World Table Tennis Championships 2019

The World Table Tennis Championships have been held since 1926, biennially since 1957. Five individual events, which include men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's double and mixed doubles, are currently held in odd numbered years. In 2019 Budapest will be the host of the event. The world’s best table tennis athletes will compete at Budapest during Easter. This is going to be the fourth time when the Hungarian capital hosts the most important event of the year in this sport. Almost 70 years later after the last rendez-vous the “Pearl of Danube” will be the home of the sport that everyone loves. Table tennis is for everyone. The Organising Committee planned to follow through the dream of the best world championships ever, therefore they will provide side-programs for the families and the exhibitors. The Fun zone and the exhibition stands will be waiting for their visitors, exhibitors and table tennis supporters, at HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Center.
